A new apartment community named for the landscape beneath it.
00 / Overview
Creating the property brand before there was a resident experience to show.
Pradera was a ground-up Shapell apartment development in San Ramon. Agency689 created the name, strategy, logo, visual system, colors, voice, brand guidelines, property signage, leasing materials, billboards, banners, and launch communications required to introduce the community from the ground up.

01 / Naming
A Spanish name rooted in the meadow.
“Pradera” means “meadow” in Spanish. The name connected San Ramon’s Spanish heritage with the open landscape surrounding the property, giving the new community a sense of place before the full environment was complete.
That naming direction became the foundation for the visual system: restrained typography, muted green-gray color, and horizon-like linework that carried the feeling of the place without becoming rustic.

02 / Identity
The horizon became part of the signature.
Tall, open letterforms gave the wordmark an architectural presence. Layered lines beneath the name suggested an undulating meadow, supported by a restrained landscape-led palette.
The system was built to feel polished across leasing materials, environmental graphics, and outdoor applications without needing a heavy decorative language.

03 / Leasing Journey
One introduction from roadside to leasing office.
Billboards, banners, exterior and building signage, brochures, folders, floor-plan materials, and printed communications gave prospective residents a consistent path into the new property.
The goal was practical but still branded: make the property easy to understand, while keeping every touchpoint calm, organized, and premium.

04 / Outcome
A complete launch foundation for the property team.
Agency689 delivered the full system Shapell needed to open leasing, then handed over practical standards and materials the property team could continue using.
