A complex media-delivery platform redesigned around the traveler standing at the screen.
00 / Overview
Making airport entertainment easier to browse, buy, and take onboard.
Before reliable in-flight internet was commonplace, Red Touch kiosks let travelers purchase and transfer current movies, music, books, and other entertainment to a phone or storage device. The engineering worked; the interface did not. Agency689 rebuilt the experience around real use, then adapted the system for the web.

01 / Research
Watch what travelers did, not what the interface expected.
Agency689 reviewed thousands of observed use cases and filmed interactions to understand where people hesitated, misunderstood the path, or abandoned a purchase. The findings gave the redesign a behavioral foundation.

02 / UX Architecture
Design the right experience, then connect the technology.
Rather than arrange new screens around the existing code, Agency689 wireframed the interface around the way browsing, selection, payment, and transfer should work. Red Touch’s engineering lead then connected the platform to that experience.
03 / Touchscreen Interface
A purchase path built for speed, clarity, and touch.
The final design gave large content libraries a more legible structure, created clearer feedback at every step, and made the system feel credible as a consumer media product rather than a technical utility.
04 / Web Adaptation
Extending the experience beyond the kiosk.
Agency689 later designed the screens required to port the service online, carrying the interaction model into a platform travelers could access without standing at an airport terminal.
05 / Result
A substantial increase in first-year kiosk sales.
Across the kiosk network, the client reported a 35% increase in sales during the first year after the redesigned experience launched.
